3 Days Samburu

from
$ 1,250.00$ 1,100.00

Interesting camping trip in the hot and dry Samburu Game Reserve, which is part of Kenya’s large Northern Frontier District. The Samburu tribe, who are pastoral cousins of the Masai, reside in the region. The Owasso Nyiro River, which flows along the southern edge of Samburu Game Reserve, is home to crocodiles and hippos, with several other animals stopping by to drink during the hot summer months. Enjoy your 3 Days Samburu and have a refreshing holiday.

  1. Day 1 Nairobi to Samburu

    you will be picked up from your hotel in Nairobi and driven north to the Samburu National Reserve, where you will arrive at approximately 1300 hours, just in time for lunch. Following lunch, you will embark on an afternoon game drive across the semi-arid plains of the Samburu national reserve. This region is renowned for its wildlife, including the reticulated giraffe, Beisa Oryx, Grevy’s zebra, and semi-nomadic Samburu people.

    You will be able to witness a variety of wildlife species during the afternoon game drive. After that, head back to your campground for dinner and the night.

  2. Day 2 Full day at Samburu

    A full day is allotted for you to spend on a game drive in the 40 square miles of semi-arid plains that the Ewaso Ngi’iro River traverses during the early morning and afternoon. Views of the Ololokwe Table Mountain will provide a striking backdrop while you look for wildlife. The rare reticulated giraffe, which is only found in northern parks, makes up one-third of Kenya’s giraffe population, and other species seen in the reserve include the straight-horned Beisa Oryx antelope, the blue-legged Somali Ostrich, and the long-necked Gerenuk gazelle. You will return to your camping site in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

  3. Day 3 Samburu to Nairobi

    Enjoy an early breakfast, check out, and then travel back to Nairobi in time for lunch, which is served at the hotel. Afterwards, you will either be dropped off at the hotel or at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in time for your return flight home.

I would recommend using flat shoes and boots.

Its allowed though not recommended.

Pets are not allowed since you will be visiting animal parks and the pet may scare of be scared of the animals.
